Hi! My name is Edie (short for Meredith), and this website is my best attempt at encapsulating my entire life's work into a snazzy, eye-catching "hire me!" advertisement. In 2024, I graduated with my Bachelors in Information Technology, with a concentration in "Immersive Media Systems"- which is a long way of saying communications. Since then, I've worked in research, administrative roles, and food service, while focusing on creative personal development. I'm the type of person who will never say an artistic endeavor is ever truly completed, but this website is particularly relegated to the eternal Work-In-Progress zone. So please, click around, and pardon the dust!

To put it kindly, I'm a rennaisance man of sorts. This has made it incredibly challenging to pull together a portfolio. Copywriting/digital marketing? I taught a course on that as part of my senior capstone project, ran PR for my school clubs, and helped with social media posts for one of my favorite bands! Full Stack Web Development AND Web CMS? Check out the work I did for the Albert Dorman Honors College! Script writing [&] Performing? I'm working on a place to host the recordings of my weekly radio show from my time as content manager at WJTB Student Radio! Tech support and data management? Food service? Digital Humanities research? A high school NASA internship????

This is why this website will never be perfect.

I may be a jack-of-all trades, master of none, but I can't imagine a world in which I'm a master of one. I love learning new things, working with others, and figuring out creative solutions to problems that didn't exist until we started asking questions. I am constantly trying to iterate and improve upon the status quo, and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I write with a strong sense of tone and voice, and will never use Artificial-Intelligence for a project that requires the flexibility, wit, and nuance of a human creative. I thrive under deadlines and constraints, and I seek challenges at every turn.

I'm a jaded optimist, and I want to use my talents and training to connect with the people around me. I love internet history and culture(hence, neocities), asking great questions, and working with people just as passionate about the world as I am. If you've made it this far, thank you.
